Programs

Jurassic Classroom's programs are designed for numerous different audiences of all education levels.  Each one guarantees the opportunity to see and touch real dinosaur fossils, including ones from such favorites as:

Tyrannosaurus rex
Triceratops
Ankylosaurus

Raptors

Pterodactyls

Diplodocus
And many more!!

In addition, each program also includes museum-quality casts of real fossils. These more-durable duplicates will give students the chance to get more hands-on with specimens they'd otherwise have to treat much more carefully.

Though primarily aimed at a classroom setting, all of our programs are highly flexible, and can be adapted for any venue, from a library to a birthday party.  Simply include information about your venue when booking, and we can work with you to provide the ideal program!

Please note that all programs charge $.50/mile for traveling expenses for distances of 15 miles or more.

History of the Dinosaurs

This program looks specifically at the story of dinosaur evolution in the greater context of the History of Life on Earth.  Students will look at real dinosaur fossils and museum-quality casts to follow the evolution of dinosaurs throughout the Mesozoic Era, culminating in the evolution of modern birds. The patterns in dinosaur evolution will be compared to the adaptations employed by living animals to determine if there are patterns in evolution. Finally, these same observations will be applied to make predictions about what some dinosaurs might look like today had they not gone extinct!

Mostly aimed at high school students.

Duration: Approximately 50-75 minutes.

Price: $250
